Ray J arrested after pulling gun on estranged wife during live stream
R&B singer Ray J faces criminal threat charge over chaotic live stream
Ray J is reportedly spending Thanksgiving in jail following a frightening incident at his Porter Ranch home.
According to TMZ, the R&B singer allegedly pulled a gun on his estranged wife, Princess Love, and threatened another man during a chaotic live stream early Thursday morning.
During the video, Ray J, 44, claimed his children were with him for the holiday and ranted that “ain’t nobody taking them away from me on Thanksgiving.” He then appeared to grab a handgun and load it on camera.
“If these n***** step foot close to this door, I’m going to blow this f****** s*** away, bro,” he shouted, complaining of “the worst Thanksgiving in the f****** world.”
Princess Love, 41, walked into the home to pick up their children—daughter Melody, 7, and son Epik, 5—prompting Ray J to accuse her and a cousin of being intoxicated. Princess Love later called her estranged husband “a woman abuser” and “delusional.”
Background audio captured a crying child, sirens, and another man trying to calm Ray J down. Law enforcement confirmed they received a call for a possible domestic violence incident around 4 a.m.
Ray J was arrested and booked on a single charge of making a criminal threat, with bail set at $50,000.
Ray J and Princess Love, married in 2016, have had a long on-and-off relationship and filed for divorce multiple times, most recently in February 2024.
The singer is also facing a defamation lawsuit from Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner over claims he was building a federal RICO case against them.
