King Charles announces a guest appearance before Christmas: ‘Know him as a man’
King Charles promises fans a deeper look into things that mean the world to him and will show what role nature has played in his life
King Charles has just surprised royal fans by announcing his guest appearance, straight from Dumfries House in Ayrshire, for a unique edition of BBC Radio 4 - This Natural Life.
For those unversed, the series sees Martha Kearney explore the “importance of the natural world in the lives of her guests.”
According to the official website “each person she meets takes her to a location which means something to them, and describes the role nature has played in their life, explaining how it has shaped, influenced or fascinated them.”
This series also “celebrates the power and mystery of the natural world, and finds reasons to be optimistic about its future.”
Ahead of Christmas 2025, King Charles’ special episode will come as a treat and will air on December 23rd.
Martha will also visit the headquarters of his charity named The King’s Foundation, for its 35th anniversary.
According to Express UK the series will see even the staff at Dumfries House estate talking about the outdoor programs they have for young people and students.
After having recorded the episode Martha even spoke about her experience meeting the King and said, “it was great to see The King so relaxed in a place which means so much to him and where he puts his philosophy of nature into practice.”
