Dua Lipa, Kim Kardashian follow in Prince William's footsteps in Brazil
Prince William recently visited Brazil for the annual awards ceremony of his Earthshot Prize
Prince William travelled to Brazil earlier this month for the Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony held on November 5 at the spectacular Museum of Tomorrow in Rio de Janeiro.
During his visit, the Prince of Wales also visited the Christ the Redeemer statue to commemorate his late mother, Princess Diana, who had posed at the same spot in 1991.
The visit occurred during his trip for the Earthshot Prize ceremony, for which the statue was closed to the public to allow him to meet the finalists.
Coincidentally, as thousands of people liked Prince William's pictures at the landmark, two international celebrities shared photos with the statue on social media.
The first one was Kim Kardashian, who on November 13, shared multiple pictures from her visit to Brazil.
Sharing a photo with the statue, she wrote in the caption, "Visiting Christ the Redeemer in Brazil."
Meanwhile, British singer Dua Lipa, who is touring Brazil, also shared multiple photos from Rio, including one which featured the iconic statue.
While Dua Lipa and Kim's visits following William's were mere coincidence, some members of the British royal family are more popular than Hollywood celebrities.
