Hilary Duff unveils first album in 10 years, 'Luck…Or Something'
Hilary Duff’s seventh studio album 'Luck… Or Something' will drop in February 2026
Hilary Duff is back in the studio full time!
The pop star announced her first album in 10 years in a press release on Friday, November 21. Titled Luck… Or Something, her seventh studio album arrives on February 20, 2026, and marks her most personal project yet.
“I am often asked how I still have my head on straight after growing up in this industry,” Duff, 38, said in the press release. She explained that the title hints at how she has survived the chaos of fame. “It’s luck, but there’s also a lot of weight in the ‘ … or something.’ Many of the things I’ve been through along the way are held there, and I feel like ultimately that’s what’s shaped me.”
The album news follows the release of Mature, her first single in a decade. The song arrived with a moody video and a message that Duff says comes from a deep place.
“Mature is a little conversation that my present self is having with my younger self,” she said earlier this month. “The two of us are reflecting on a past experience and sending love to each other. It’s a chuckle, a wink and a sense of being grateful that we are sure-footed in where we landed.”
Duff cowrote the track with her husband Matthew Koma and Madison Love. She shares three daughters with Koma and also has a son with ex-husband Mike Comrie. After years of choosing family time over studio time, Duff told Vogue she finally feels ready.
“To be 38 and have built a family that looks the way I always dreamed it would, I feel like I can step away and take some time to do this for myself,” she said. “It feels like a victory lap.”
