King Charles team issues urgent statement ahead of Sandringham walk
A beloved royal house closes its doors due to uncertain condition
A new update from King Charles' team has been released to ensure the public's safety.
The monarch and his late mother Queen Elizabeth's beloved royal house, Balmoral Palace, was closed to the public on Thursday due to extreme weather conditions.
Not only that, the tour set for Friday has also been delayed as snow massively covered the royal residence and the surrounding area.
According to a statement released on Balmoral Castle's official Instagram page, the continuing wintry weather situation led to a decision to close the castle's doors.
"Tomorrow’s opening (Friday, 21st November) will be delayed until 11:00 am. If you have purchased a ticket for tomorrow’s Evening at Balmoral, please be assured that the experience is expected to go ahead as planned. Take care and stay safe," the spokesperson shared.
King Charles often spends his time in Balmoral after participating in the Christmas festivities in Sandringham.
The royal family is expected to put on a united front during their famous and traditional walk during the festive season.
Andrew Moutabatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson have reportedly been asked strictly not to take part in activities after their titles were removed.
However, there are claims that King Charles will extend an invitation to his nieces, Beatrice and Eugenie, to let the world know that they are still very much part of the firm.
