Prince William’s ‘human’ side tugs at heartstrings: ‘He’s now all the more revealing’

Prince William’s decision to reveal his raw emotions in a moment of striking honesty, at the British Academy Film Awards (Baftas) has just been hailed by a PR expert who recently sat down with GB News.

The expert in question is PR expert Lynn Carratt, from E20 Communications and she believes the “striking” show of honesty by Prince William, at a time when the Royal Family is going through intense turmoil speaks volumes.

For those still unversed with the events that led to this turmoil within the royal institution, it revolves around Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and it’s come after his connection to a convicted sex offender like Jeffrey Epstein has made its way into the light.

That royal in question has since lost his titles, honors, princely title and even dukedom were taken away due to growing public dissatisfaction over his lifestyle, and now it seems his place in the Line of Succession.

Even King Charles previously promised to allow the law to take its course in a statement where he emphasized his stance and displayed his “deepest concern.”

Since then the future King of England has had engagement after engagement. Not just the Baftas either but the RNLI Tower Lifeboat Station visit where he heard about the work staff and volunteers on the River Thames.

Hes also chaired a meeting of The Prince’s Council in Somerset in the early days of March, as well as attended the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey with his wife Kate.

In light of this Ms Carratt feels, “William is balancing personal loyalty to family, the weight of public expectations, and his own emotional responses to a challenging situation.”

In her personal view even the moment where he admitted he’s not in “quite a calm state” actually “shows the pressures of monarchy in full view: behind the crown lies a man who feels deeply.”

She also says, “Prince William’s admission that he was not ‘in a calm state’ is striking in its honesty. Royals rarely speak in such personal terms, which makes his comment all the more revealing.”

All in all, she also hailed the Prince of Wales for his vulnerability and admitted, “his visible emotion at the Baftas, tearing up during the in memoriam song, highlights the human side of his role. Not to mention, “public reactions often humanise William, creating empathy and understanding that his position alone cannot convey,” which she added near the end before signing off.
