Kelsea Ballerini suffers new blow after Chase Stokes’ no show at CMAs
Kelsea Ballerini's emotional performance sparks speculations amid Chase Stokes reunion
Kelsea Ballerini had her first performance after reuniting with Chase Stokes, at the CMA Awards, which moved fans to tears.
The 32-year-old country star performed her song, I Sit in Parks, during the ceremony, which is about fears of running out of time to do the things one wishes to do, which ended up being quite an emotional performance.
The I Quit Drinking hitmaker also walked the red-carpet alone, without her boyfriend, which raised some eyebrows.
Dressed up in all red, Ballerini faced a snub by the CMAs, which also disappointed fans who were rooting for the singer.
Expressing their dismay over the snub, fans flocked to social media, with one writing on X, “10/10 deserved that female vocalist award. we all know it.”
Another added, “i am so tired of kelsea ballerini never getting the recognition she deserves.”
Agreeing, a third chimed in, “Kelsea Ballerini stays robbed of well-deserved recognition at these awards shows, and I'm so incredibly sick of it.”
The CMA snub comes after the Cowboys Cry Too songstress reportedly gave a second chance to her relationship with the Outer Banks star following their brief breakup.
The couple were seen travelling together as Stokes filmed the next season of his show, and the speculation was soon followed by confirmation from insiders.
