Prince William takes 'different' route than King Charles: 'it's working'
Future King William brings major change within the royal family
Prince William received praise for adopting a different strategy than his father, King Charles, which helped him make more of a place in people's hearts.
Since Princess Catherine's cancer diagnosis, the Prince of Wales has been publicly showcasing his emotional side by commenting about the tough phase of his life in interviews.
Most recently, William also shed light on the challenges faced by modern parents in the upbringing of children. He commented on the no phone policy for George, Charlotte and Louis.
Now, speaking of the future King's new approach, royal expert Jennie Bond told the Mirror, "When I was the BBC’s Royal correspondent, it was the dream to get a proper interview with any member of the royal family. And it remained just a dream."
She added, "Charles and Diana did, in the end, do sit-down interviews – though not with me. Both were disasters. So I can quite understand that William is choosing to do things in a different way. And I think it’s working."
Jennie heaped praise on William for his "excellent strategy" for making personal statements, as people found them relatable. Just like him, many fathers and family men are trying to "navigate the best way in this complex world to bring up their young family."
