Justin Bieber sends fans wild by performing song about Selena Gomez
Justin Bieber goes viral with new performance of Selena Gomez-inspired song
Justin Bieber left fans talking with his latest video performing his hit track, Sorry, which is famously inspired by his former relationship with Selena Gomez.
The 31-year-old singer sang the song during his Twitch livestream while rehearsing for his upcoming Coachella set.
The Daisies hitmaker released Sorry ten years ago, on his album Purpose, which he admitted was inspired by Gomez, 33, in several interviews after it came out.
Soon after the livestream, the video of Bieber singing the song went viral on social media, reigniting the debate about his and the Revival hitmaker’s famous relationship.
One X user shared resurfaced clips from the interviews in which Bieber talked about the inspiration, and wrote, “Another interview from the Purpose era. Mind you all of these interviews are from before he started dating wifey. His fans just can’t accept the fact that his most acclaimed album is about Selena Gomez.”
Another echoed, “The way his fans trying to rewrite history meanwhile there are tons of clips him saying Selena inspired me during that era...,” and “Can he move on omg, chimed in a third.
While one wrote, “Lmao omg he will never forget abt Selena & will never love Hailey like he loved Sel tbh I know he regrets everything he did to her, & that kind of guilt is so painful.”
However, one shut down the conversation, writing, “It's his song he can sing it at anytime,” referring to Sorry being Bieber’s one of the most famous songs in pop music.
