Google expands Gemini for TV support to more devices
Google is expanding the Gemini rollout for TV
Google is significantly expanding the availability of Gemini for TV, the powerful AI assistant that replaces the older Google assistant starting officially.
From its launch back in September, Gemini for TV has been available on a restricted number of smart TVs and is expanding over the next few weeks.
Gemini for TV will be globally available and users just need a TV that supports HDCP1.3, an HDMI port to connect a Google TV Streamer, and robust network connection.
Gemini for TV superseded Google Assistant and offers the same basic voice assistant capabilities but in a more casual way.
Users can see the updates by going into the settings on your Google TV Streamer, selecting your account under “ Accounts & Profiles ”.
The new addition will mark a crucial step in boosting Google’s strategy to incorporate its advanced AI architecture into its entire product ecosystem.
