Paris Jackson warns fans after revealing shocking side effect of drug use
Michael Jackson confessed that she developed a hole in her nose as the result of drug use
Paris Jackson shared one of the harmful effects that drug abuse had on her body in a recent social media video.
The 27-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson confessed that she developed a hole in her nose as the result of drug use.
'I never realised I never addressed this and it can sometimes be very noticeable,' Jackson began.
'I have a really loud whistle because you can hear it when I breathe through my nose and that is because I have what is called a perforated septum.'
While speaking in a clip that was reposted by a TikTok fan account on Sunday, the singer gave her fans a glimpse of the condition by shinning her cell phone flashlight up on her nostril, revealing a lit-up tunnel between the nostrils that was visible in the video.
For context, a perforated septum is a hole in the tissue in the middle of the nose that separates the nostrils, known as the septum, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
It can also be caused by excessive usage of nasal steroid sprays, injuries, exposure to certain industrial chemicals, autoimmune conditions and even tumors. However, Jackson concluded her video with a warning for kids, saying: 'Do not use drugs kids.'
