Meghan Markle makes long-awaited announcement after Hollywood return

Meghan Markle is giving her fans an early Christmas present.

Amid her grand return to acting after nearly a decade in the upcoming film Close Personal Friends, the Duchess of Sussex finally confirmed the return of one of her most beloved shows.

Taking to her official Instagram page on Monday, November 11, Meghan announced the premiere date of her upcoming Netflix special, With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration.

“Embrace traditions and make new ones this holiday season. With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration arrives December 3rd on @netflix,” the 44-year-old entrepreneur wrote in the caption. 

The accompanying poster showed Meghan arranging a dinner table with Christmas-themed decorations. Wearing a striking green dress, the former Suits actress slightly leans forward to light a candle as her hair cascades over her shoulder.

The As Ever founder first teased the holiday special back in August, when her and Prince Harry’s Archewell Productions confirmed they’ve extended their creative partnership with Netflix with multiple new shows on the horizon.

“Join Meghan in Montecito for a magical holiday celebration,” the press release read, referring to the Sussexes’ mansion in California, Los Angeles, where they live with their children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.

“Together, friends and family deck the halls, create holiday feasts, craft heartfelt gifts, and share lots of laughs – with simple how-tos to follow at home. It’s a holiday wonder with warmth, tradition, and a generous dose of joy,” the press release detailed.
