Princess Beatrice ‘secretly working on backup plan’ for father Andrew
Andrew’s daughter Beatrice takes major strides as she strengthens position in royal family
Princess Beatrice was seemingly thinking ahead as King Charles dropped a lifechanging bombshell on her disgraced father few weeks ago, which eventually affected her and younger sister Princess Eugenie.
The 37-year-old held a secret tea party as her father was being stripped of the last privileges and symbols of his royal life as the consequences of his ‘alleged’ shameful actions caught up to him, according to a new report by The Daily Mail.
Beatrice had hosted the afternoon tea at a lavish hotel in Riyadh as the report suggested that the royal had been following her father’s footsteps, picking up where he left off in terms of making strong connections.
During her visit, she rubbed shoulders with some of the richest men on the planet. Last week, she also attended the prestigious Future Investment Initiative.
Andrew was known for having a network of influential and affluent contacts for making business deals, some of which had been considered ‘shady’. It is possible that Beatrice was already bracing herself on blow from the royals to secure their future financially.
When reached Ruma Bose for a comment about Beatrice’s nature of role in such meetings, there was no response.
As Beatrice role is shrouded in mystery, it is unclear that the King’s niece flew privately or commercial. It also remains undisclosed if it was paid gig, however, the report described that Beatrice was “treated very much as a VIP by the assembled Royals, energy bosses and high-powered bankers” during her business conference last week.
The new details emerged just days after the British royal was granted a new role, the Deputy Patron of Outward Bound, a U.K.-based charity that helps children of all backgrounds grow through exposure to nature and outdoor adventures.
She was joined by her uncle Prince Edward, who will serve as the Royal Patron of the organisation.
