Alison Hammond returns to jungle spirit as 'I'm A Celebrity' faces turmoil
Alison took part in the series 15 years ago, appearing as a late entry in 2010
Alison Hammond is all set to travel Australia and appear on I'm A Celebrity's spin-off show Unpacked.
The ITV presenter, 50, will reportedly fly down under later this month to give her opinion on the latest series as celebrity guests enter the jungle.
According to The Sun, an insider said: 'Alison is a national treasure and bosses are really excited to get her on board.'
'Her signature charm and infectious humour will go down a storm. She'll only be away a week, so This Morning won't miss her too much.'
For context, Alison took part in the series 15 years ago, appearing as a late entry in 2010.
Nick Ferrari has reportedly thrown next year's I'm A Celebrity.. Get Me Out of Here! into disarray after pulling out of negotiations as the eleventh hour.
The veteran broadcaster, 66, is said to have held discussions with ITV about joining the hit jungle series before his bosses at LBC where he fronts the flagship weekday breakfast show-stepped in to block the move.
According to insiders, the radio network was so determined to keep him on air that executives offered to match the fee he was set to receive from I'm A Celeb to ensure he stayed in the UK.
Nick, who has hosted Nick Ferrari at Breakfast since 2004, also make regular appearances on This Morning as a contributor.
