Addison Rae sends fans wild with viral Grammys post: 'Is this real?'
Addison Rae fans divided after Grammy nomination debut
Addison Rae, who just earned her first Grammy nomination, is now trending on social media because of a viral post.
The 25-year-old pop superstar seemed to have shared an email thanking the Recording Academy for the nomination, which included a ChatGPT prompt used to generate it.
The X account, Drop Pop, shared a screenshot of the email seemingly written by the Diet Pepsi hitmaker, and fans flocked to social media to react.
One X user wrote, “the fact that people can’t even write three cute little sentences without relying on AI is kinda crazy,” while another echoed, “best content I have seen today, makes me wonder if she writes her songs.”
A third chimed in, “genius move from a PR perspective — this was intentional and everyone took the bait.”
Others wrote, “ChatGPT is making people more lazy by the day,” and “Imagine thanking your team at the #GRAMMYs and accidentally leaving your ChatGPT prompt in there. Only Addison Rae could do it.”
However, some clarified that the post was meant to be sarcastic since the X account is known for parody posts only.
Rae has not made an official post about her nomination.
