The comedian is said to have heroically tackled the attacker tp protect his friend
Traitors winner Alan Carr reportedly saved his close friend's life after bravely confronting a knife-wielding thug.
The comedian, 49, is said to have heroically tackled the attacker, who was brandishing the weapon-a ten-inch blade at actress Cleo Rocos, 63.
The terrifying incident occurred while the pair were on a night out in Marrakesh, during which Alan knocked the weapon out of the assailant's hand.
Cleo told The Sun, that a man, believed to be in his 40s, suddenly appeared from the shadows and grabbed her arm.'
'It is not known when the incident took place.
'I pushed him away, but he grabbed me tighter and, in really bad English, he said he wanted to be with me,' she told The Sun.
'We didn't think he was being serious, but then he pulled a knife out, it was probably about ten inches long.
'Most people would have been terrified, but for Alan was surprisingly calm.'
She went on to praise Alan's bravery, explaining how he used his own body as a barrier between her and the attacker.
The comic told the man, 'Don't be so rude,' before knocking the knife out of his hand.
The attacker was said to be in disbelief following the confrontation, while Cleo described Alan as a 'real gentleman' who is both strong and chivalrous.
For context, Alan recently managed to hoodwink Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga into believing he was a Faithful during Celebrity Traitors this week.
