Prince Harry kept his homeland, the UK and the royal tradition close to his heart during a glitzy outing with Meghan Markle.
The Duke of Sussex joined his father, King Charles, and the royal family in spirit by putting on display his red poppy in honour of Remembrance Day.
For the unversed, the Sussexes made a joint public appearance in Beverly Hills on Saturday to celebrate the renowned matriarch Kris Jenner on her 70th birthday.
The star-studded party, held at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's $165 million mansion, was attended by numerous A-listers from various industries.
For the event, Meghan wore an all black outfit, whereas Harry opted for a classic black tuxedo. However, a special detail which grabbed the attention of netizens was his red poppy.
A fan wrote in the comments section, "Prince Harry didn't forget. He showed solidarity with King Charles and the royal family for Remembrance Day with his poppy flower nod."
As Remembrance Week commenced, the Duke of Sussex wrote a heartfelt letter honouring war heroes and expressing pride in his British nationality.
Harry said that he currently resides in the United States, but "Britain is, and always will be, the country I proudly served and fought for."
"The banter of the mess, the clubhouse, the pub, the stands, ridiculous as it sounds, these are the things that make us British. I make no apology for it. I love it," the Duke added.
King Charles' son urged the people to showcase admiration and respect for those who served and are still serving in the line of duty.
