King Charles, Prince William discuss Harry’s UK return: ‘doors opened’

Prince Harry has received some ‘cautiously optimistic’ news from the Royal Family as King Charles and Prince William discuss the future.

The Duke of Sussex had made an emotional admission about his devotion to the UK expressing how his loyalties remain to his home country.

Harry, who had given a decade of his life to military service, had honoured “not only the fallen, but the living” soldiers who carry the “weight of the war” ahead of Remembrance Day.

King Charles’s younger son had declared that “Britain is, and always will be, the country I proudly served and fought for”, which many experts believe is a clear indicator that Harry hopes to return to the UK one day.

In the recent events that have taken place in the royal family, Vanity Fair’s Katie Nicholl pointed out how William has had his hand on his father’s back through the tough decision he has had to take for Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have been “instrumental” in the decisions that were taken for Andrew and now all eyes are on the Sussexes and what the future holds for them.

According to a family friend of the royals, while the King has a soft spot for his younger son, given that they have reportedly remained in contact following their September meeting, William is still hesitant.

When it comes to the monarchy, the future King is “ruthless” about protecting its reputation and if the Sussexes are causing it harm, they will face “repercussions”.

“There’s a clear message from the very top,” the source asserted.

“Harry wants to come back to Britain more. Charles has opened the door, but William is more cautious,” they continued.

William is “tough and resolute and very protective of his family, and he will allow no one to damage it”.

There have been efforts from Harry to placate the strained ties that had been worsening over the course of three years with his estranged brother.

Harry has begun his reconciliation with his father while William remains untrusting and furious with him for dragging the royal family’s name through the mud.

Although, the damage done by Andrew – the slew of scandals ranging from sexual assault allegations to friendship with Jeffrey Epstein and the many shady business dealings conducted throughout the years – is far worse than what Harry and Meghan had done.

In fact, the Sussexes have held a positive public opinion in the media recently for their charitable work and their advocacy for protection of children with the advent of AI technology.

It is unlikely that William would go through unnecessary processes to remove his brother when he isn’t causing an Andrew-level PR disaster. The move could backfire and be labelled as vindictive, which is not something that the future king wants.

So far, it would appear that Harry is in the clear for his titles, his return to the royal family still remains uncertain.
