Miles Teller stuns with unrecognisable look in Michael Jackson biopic
Michael Jackson biopic Michael is set to be released in theaters on April 24, 2026
Miles Teller stunned fans with a surprising new look for his upcoming role in the Michael Jackson biopic.
The Hollywood actor has taken on the part of Jackson’s longtime lawyer and manager, John Branca.
For the role, Teller completely changed his appearance, growing his hair to shoulder length and wearing facial prosthetics.
When a photo from the film began circulating online, fans were quick to react, as many mistook him for playing Jackson himself.
One user joked that they “had tears in their ears” thinking Teller was cast as the King of Pop, while another wrote, “Miles Teller definitely showed up to audition for white Michael Jackson.”
The lighthearted confusion spread across social media, with one fan asking, “Who put Miles in that wig?” and another suggesting he should play rock legend Steve Perry instead.
The biopic, simply titled Michael, is directed by Antoine Fuqua, best known for Training Day and The Equalizer.
However, it stars Jackson’s real-life nephew, Jaafar Jackson, who began filming in 2023.
Originally planned for release last year, the movie faced several delays due to its long runtime and editing changes, and it will now hit theaters in April 2026.
According to insiders, the film will explore Jackson’s life from his early days in the Jackson Five to his reign as one of the biggest entertainers in the world.
It will also highlight both his personal struggles and his legendary performances, giving fans a new look at the man behind the global icon.
