Hilary Duff drop news music first time after 10 years
Hilary Duff excites fans for musical comeback after a decade
Hilary Duff fans are excited beyond measure as the actor-singer is ready to release new music after a decade-long hiatus.
The 38-year-old multihyphenated star took to Instagram on Wednesday, November 5, and shared a short clip of herself from what appeared to be a music video.
The Lizzy McGuire star wrote, “Tomorrow [cherries emoji],” in the caption of the video, which showed a butterfly landing on Duff’s cheek as she smiled.
The following screen displayed the title of her new single, Mature. The upcoming song is also on the homepage of the Dignity hitmaker’s official website, along with the release date, November 6.
While fans excitedly await the release, they have been expressing their anticipation and predictions on social media.
Many fans unanimously agreed that the promo reminded them of Duff’s Metamorphosis, as one wrote, “METAMORPHOSIIIIIIS,” and others echoed.
One noted that the butterfly seemed to be an allusion to the older album, “the metamorphosis reference is SENDING MEEEEEE,” while a third chimed in, “This is a mature metamorphosis [crying emoji].”
Celebrating the upcoming release, one social media sleuth commented, “This isn’t a comeback, it’s a Duff-quake. Pop music, consider yourself served/saved,” and “counting down the seconds.”
Meanwhile, “I CANT WAITTT,” exclaimed another.
Fans won’t have to wait too long as the single drops at 8 PM EST.
