Meghan Markle takes bold step despite Prince Harry’s protests
Prince Harry’s concerns grow as Meghan Markle plans big move on royal turf
Meghan Markle is willing to take a daring step even after Prince Harry expressly shared his concerns on the matter.
The Duchess of Sussex is seemingly ignoring all the furore surrounding the royal family, with regards to Prince Andrew, and Prince William’s future plan that threatens the royal titles and honours of the Sussexes.
The As Ever founder jumped back into the spotlight with a bang, marking a big moment by attending Paris Fashion Week to support long-time pal and Balenciaga’s new creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli.
Following the appearance, speculations emerged that Meghan was testing the waters by stepping solo onto European soil – predominantly the turf of her estranged in-laws.
Meanwhile, Harry is still fighting for the security of his family in the UK after he sent a letter to the new UK Home Secretary, Shabana Mahmood, requesting a re-evaluation of his security arrangements in the UK.
Experts believe Meghan is gearing up to attend London Fashion Week, which could be a “daring and strategic” step but comes with a lot of risks. Expert Mayah Riaz expressed that the Duchess could be testing how the public would respond much to her husband’s concerns.
“It’d certainly be one that would grab headlines instantly. It could be her biggest PR gamble since stepping back from royal life.”
She noted that regardless of how her appearance “hurts or helps” her image, the “British public is still divided, so if this was to happen, it wouldn’t be a time for a glossy photo-op, but a time for a thoughtful re-entry”.
It is understood that Prince Harry would be concerned since he himself experienced a breach of security during his time in the UK last month.
