Kim Kardashian gives update on co-parenting with Kanye West after new rant

Kim Kardashian has reportedly tolerated a lot behind the scenes and is finally ready to talk about her near non-existent co-parenting relationship with ex-husband, Kanye West.

Kardashian is setting the record straight after ex-husband Kanye West previously accused her of keeping him from seeing their kids.

The 45-year-old media personality spoke about the common perceptions of her being an over-protective mom, formed by West's social media rants, during the latest episode of The Kardashians.

Setting the record straight, Kardashian said, “I feel more stressed probably just because I have to protect my kids. Everyone around can handle [the drama], but I want to protect my babies. They are going to know things. They’re going to grow up and see.”

The SKIMS founder, who shares kids, North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5, with the rapper, 48, noted that her children are now beginning to understand the controversies surrounding their father’s social media comments and backlash, saying, “One of my kids knew what was happening. I’ve been able to hide it for so long.”

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star went on to share that despite providing West with every opportunity to step up for the kids, he has been nothing but unresponsive.

“It’s a divorce, not a kidnapping. We haven’t left. We’re in the same spot and we have the same address, so he knows where his kids are at,” she said.

The reality star added, “What happened to the house that you bought next door and we were going to coparent and do a back and forth where you take them to school every day?”

Kardashian explained that she had her mother, Kris Jenner and stepdad, Caitlyn Jenner, and her dad Robert Kardashian’s co-parenting relationships as examples and would never have expected hers to turn out like this.
