Jisoo gets new title from Zayn Malik after 'out-of-this-world' collaboration
Zayn Malik and Blackpink's Jisoo recently released a new tender pop track 'Eyes Closed'
Jisoo earned a new title from Zayn Malik after the duo teamed up on their collaborative single Eyes Closed.
In an Instagram post shared on Monday, October 13, the former One Direction star shared his experience of working with one of the four Blackpink members and declared Jisoo a "legend."
"@sooyaaa__ Jisoo.. you’re an absolute legend," he captioned a series of unseen behind the scene moments from the making of Eyes Closed music video. "loved every part of this collaboration"
The Dusk Till Dawn hitmaker added, "thank you for making me the coolest dad around. [hysterical laugh and red heart emoji]," referencing how much his five-year-old daughter Khai Malik, whom he shares with ex-partner Gigi Hadid, adores the K-pop girl group.
Notably, earlier in July Zayn, 32, shared an adorable picture with Khai as the father-daughter duo enjoyed a BLACKPINK concert in New York City.
The latest carousel post featured Jisoo, 30, smiling alongside the Alienated singer, on set as they were standing in a white-and-red corridor from the music video.
Other shots included a few solo glimpses of Zayn posing against the film’s dreamy, sci-fi aesthetic.
Released on Friday, October 10, Eyes Closed is a tender pop track that explores the vulnerability of love and letting go of the past.
Its music video brings that emotion to life through strong visual metaphors and a cosmic journey through space.
The video that opens with Jisoo and Zayn awakened from suspended pods, floating in a spacecraft ends with the spaceship approaching Saturn as the chorus echoes, “We should fall in love with our eyes closed.”
