Viral video: Charlie Kirk's alleged assassin spotted at gas station in Utah Manhunt

Newly released surveillance footage accessed by Fox News Digital provides a glimpse at Tyler Robinson, the alleged suspect in the assassination of 31-year-old conservative Charlie Kirk, who was shot on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University.

The footage shows Robinson at a Maverik gas station in Cedar City, Utah, the morning after Charlie Kirk was shot dead when he was addressing a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University.

Robinson, 22, can be seen pulling his Dodge Challenger into the gas station around 7:15 a.m., paying for fuel with a credit card, and standing beside his car as he pumped gas. Authorities later confirmed that he did not dispose of any evidence in the station’s trash cans during the stop.

The security camera footage shows Robinson, 22, arriving in his car, a Dodge Challenger at a gas station at around 7:15 a.m. on September 11, 2025, located in Cedar City, less than 24 hours into the manhunt for the alleged assassin.

The Cedar Police Department stated in an incident report, “Once the tank was full, he removed the nozzle, closed the gas cup, got back into his vehicle, and left the gas station. At no time did Tyler approach or use any trash cans to dispose of items.”

This viral video provides one of the very first glimpses into Tyler Robinson’s alleged escape route from Orem to St. George as law enforcement scrambled to catch the suspect in Charlie Kirk’s murder.

Robinson was later apprehended later that day in St. George after he supposedly confessed to his parents, romantic partner, and friends, as per the court documents.

Tyler Robinson, the main suspect in Charlie Kirk's murder, has been charged with seven crimes, including aggravated homicide, which could result in a capital punishment sentence.

Other charges filed against him are felony firearm discharge, obstruction, and witness tampering. He has not yet pleaded.

The assassination of Charlie Kirk has shocked political and social media communities. Robinson’s alleged actions, along with rare surveillance footage of his escape route, keep drawing considerable public attention.
