50 Cent mocks Diddy’s prison hearing with cruel joke
P Diddy found guilty in long-running legal drama as he's been sentenced to four years in jail
50 Cent did not hold back after Diddy was sentenced to four years in prison for prostitution offenses.
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, poked fun at his longtime rival by posting a court sketch of Diddy crying and joking that he could replace him at a speaking gig.
Diddy, real name Sean Love Combs, was found guilty on two prostitution charges following an eight-week trial.
He avoided convictions for sex trafficking and racketeering but still faced a tough outcome, as judge Arun Subramanian sentenced him to 50 months in prison, a $500,000 fine, and five years of supervision once he is released.
However, the judge said Diddy caused “irreparable harm” to his victims and described his behavior toward ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura as “savage.”
50 Cent used the moment to taunt his rival online, saying “Hey to whoever was booking Diddy for a speaking engagement, I heard he won’t be able to make it, I’m available!” he wrote.
This was not the first time 50 Cent took aim at Diddy during the trial, as he previously sent a letter to the judge asking him to keep Diddy behind bars, saying he “feared for my life” and warning that releasing him too soon could put the public at risk.
For the unversed, their feud has lasted for years, with 50 often mocking Diddy through social media posts and memes.
