Victoria Beckham reveals real reason behind her fashion career
Former Spice Girl talks about her love for fashion in an upcoming documentary
Victoria Beckham has recently revealed real reason behind her fashion career.
The former Spice Girl opened up about her love for fashion in a teaser trailer for new Netflix documentary ahead of its release on October 9.
Victoria, who launched her fashion and beauty brand in 2008, admitted she “always wanted” to do fashion.
“Throughout my life, I've used clothes to become someone else, be the person that I always wanted to be, that maybe naturally I wasn't,” explained the 51-year-old.
Victoria recalled she used to “customise the school uniform in the bathroom at lunchtime”.
“I used to love watching my mum get dressed up, you know she really cared and made the best of herself,” she mentioned in the new show.
While talking about her mother, Victoria disclosed that her mum would say, “if you dress up to get on the aeroplane, if there's any chance of being upgraded, they're always going to look at who looks the best”.
“The truth is, there is no first class on budget air lines,” she added.
It is pertinent to mention that Victoria has not cut scenes of her oldest son, Brooklyn Beckham in the documentary despite having no contact with him.
Meanwhile, the documentary will follow the 2023 release of four-part Netflix series, Beckham, which focused on her husband David’s impressive career and personal life.
