Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew face calls for urgent accountability
The brother of King Charles is accused of participating in convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein's trafficking ring
Sarah Ferguson’s act amid her Jeffrey Epstein scandal isn’t fooling the family of Prince Andrew’s accuser, Virginia Giuffre.
Giuffre alleged that the convicted paedophile had trafficked her to the younger brother of King Charles III when she was just 17 years old in 2001. In 2022, the Duke of York privately settled Giuffre’s civil sex assault lawsuit for an undisclosed amount.
Though Guiffre tragically died by suicide at age 41 earlier in April this year, her family continues to fight her battle and demand justice.
Her brother Sky Roberts told Newsnight via Daily Mail, “[Andrew] has questions to answer. The settlement avoided discovery, which could have exposed more.”
He also slammed the conduct of Andrew’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, whose 2011 emails to Epstein were recently exposed. In the emails, the Duchess of York vehemently apologises to Epstein for publicly disowning him just weeks earlier, even though he had been convicted for child prostitution.
“To call Epstein a ‘supreme friend’ after his conviction is indefensible. The public is watching, and this is just the beginning,” Roberts said.
His wife, Amanda Roberts chimed in, slamming Fergie’s defense that Epstein threatened her with defamation and worse after she seemingly referred to him as a paedophile.
Amanda shut down the defense, arguing, “Every survivor faces defamation. If you’re in Epstein’s circle, it was very obvious what was happening. Minors were around him constantly. For friends to act unaware is preposterous.”
