Meghan Markle's decision takes emotional toll on Harry

Prince Harry has seemingly been caught in the crossfire between his wife Meghan Markle's ongoing tension with the royal family.

The Duke of Sussex's struggle to navigate a delicate balance between tradition and personal conviction does not seem to end anytime soon as he appears to suffer a lot in the life he chose for himself.

On the other hand, Meghan Markle is also afraid of losing the Duke of Sussex to King Charles amid his desperate bid to reconcile with his royal relatives as the move might pull him away from their life in California and potentially drive a wedge between them.

The Duke's life in Montecito with Meghan and their two young children, Archie and Lilibet, is said to be desperately lonely as he lacks real friends in the area.

Harry, who spent his entire life in England with family and friends before Megxit, misses his old friends even though the Duchess makes all her efforts that her  husband could feel less burdened by the past and more present in the life they’ve built together.

The Duchess is said to be fighting tooth and nail to keep her husband as it's frustrating for her that the Duke thinks the recent meeting with his dad King Charles is some huge victory.

Harry seems to be on cloud nine after the reunion with the royals and some of his friends in the UK.

Harry has made several attempts to convince the Duchess that there's nothing to be nervous about. But, Meghan still has her doubts as she feels there's a lot of unfinished business.

During his time in the UK before marrying Meghan, the Duke used to love a night out in the pub and hanging out in the country with friends. In California, he still struggles to mingle with the people and their lifestyle.
