Prince Harry makes emotional admission about Archie: 'I choked up'

Prince Harry made an emotional confession about parenthood after he joined his family to honour a beloved royal figure.

For the unversed, on September 8, the Duke of Sussex began his four-day UK trip with a visit to his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth's grave in Windsor, hours after King Charles' heartfelt tribute to the late monarch on social media.

Notably, Harry was a few miles away from the Prince and Princess of Wales, who were also performing a royal duty at the Women's Institute branch at Sunningdale to honour the Queen's years-long standing association.

On the same day, the Duke of Sussex attended the annual WellChild Awards, where he heaped praise on parents raising children who are seriously ill.

In conversation with Hello! Magazine, Harry, who has been a patron of charity for the last 17 years, said, "I think once you become a parent yourself, everything changes."

He added, "It's emotional enough not being a parent and seeing what these families go through, but then when you have your own kids or when you're expecting your own kids, that's when it really hits you."

Notably, the former working royal opened up about how he "choked up" during his appearance at the 2018 awards while his wife, Meghan Markle, was expecting their firstborn, Prince Archie.

He shared, "And I remember one of these years, I choked up on stage, and that was exactly it. I am so grateful to have healthy kids."

There are speculations that Prince Harry will meet his cancer-stricken father, King Charles, during his UK tour, to speed up peace talks.
