Miles Teller exhibits ‘excitement’ over Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce engagement
Miles Teller comments on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s ‘long life of companionship’
Miles Teller is sharing nothing but joy for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce as the couple prepares to walk down the aisle.
The Top Gun: Maverick star lit up when talking about his longtime friends’ engagement during the Eternity world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 7.
“Anytime you find the person you want to spend forever with, that’s such exciting news,” he told E! News’ Francesca Amiker.
“It’s the first step in a long life of companionship.”
While Teller celebrated the milestone with pure happiness, comedian Nikki Glaser admitted she had a very different but equally passionate reaction.
Speaking to outlets at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 7, Glaser revealed that Swift and Kelce’s love story could spark envy among fans.
“It’s going to ruin some relationships,” she said, explaining that people might begin to compare their own romances to the couple’s bond.
Glaser recalled learning about the engagement on Aug. 26, the same day Swift shared the announcement on Instagram.
“I woke up from a nap and my phone was blown up. I thought someone had died. It’s the best news,” she said.
Although she didn’t expect it to happen so quickly, she admitted she sensed it was inevitable after watching Kelce and Swift’s dynamic on the New Heights podcast.
“I’m not one to say I saw it coming, but it was just very obvious to me that this was going to last forever,” Glaser explained.
“And after watching that interview on New Heights, it’s just, that’s the kind of guy you want your best friend to be with.
So, as someone who feels like they’re friends with her para-socially, I mean, I feel like every Swiftie couldn’t have been happier just to see her celebrated in that way and shown off in that way. He’s obsessed with her, and that’s what every girl deserves, and every guy deserves.”
For Glaser, the reason some relationships might get weak is simple, people long for the type of love Swift has always sung about, a love that now seems to have become her reality.
