Sarah Ferguson breaks silence with emotional words amid Harry's visit
The Duchess of York always maintained a close bond with the late Queen
Sarah Ferguson has nothing but love for the late Queen.
On September, 8, Buckingham Palace released a stunning portrait of Queen Elizabeth II to commemorate the late monarch's third anniversary.
The caption alongside the photos reads, 'Remembering Queen Elizabeth II, 1926-2022.'
Now, Sarah affectionately known as Fergie has also shared an emotional tribute to mark the solemn occasion.
Taking to her Instagram account on Monday, the Duchess of York penned a heartfelt note for the late mother of her ex-husband, Prince Andrew.
'Today marks three years since the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II,' the mother of two wrote in the caption.
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie's mother continued: 'Her Majesty will be forever loved, always missed, and never forgotten. Not a day goes by when I don't think of the kindness I was unstintingly shown in good times and bad.
She went on to add: 'Caring for Her Majesty's beloved corgis is an honour and a daily reminder of the times we shared together.'
For context, the Duchess of York always maintained a close bond with the late Queen, even after her divorce from, Prince Andrew.
Interestingly, Sarah also had the privilege of caring for Her Majesty's beloved corgis, Muick and Sandy, after her death in 2022.
This tribute comes amid Andrew's nephew, Prince Harry, has also landed in the UK on a four-day trip filled with official engagements.
He paid respects to his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, by visiting her grave at St George's Chapel, at Windsor Castle.
