Lady Gaga celebrated her wins in and out of the award ceremony after leading the MTV VMAs winners list.
The 39-year-old popstar had to rush off from the award show to take the stage at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, September 7, and the concert became even more special because of the highlight of the evening.
The Vanish Into You hitmaker commemorated her milestone moment by including the trophies into one of the acts in her set where she dances in a shallow grace.
During the Sunday show, Gaga danced in the grave alongside the three Moon Person trophies and a skeleton as she performed Perfect Celebrity.
Her fans, or Little Monsters, gushed about the iconic moment on X, as one wrote, “NOTHING BUT RESPECT FOR MY 3 TIME VMA WINNER.”
While another added, “YOU DESERVE IT MOTHER GAGA!” and “PERFECT CELEBRITY,” chimed in a third.
The Abracadabra songstress won four awards in the ceremony, including Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration for Die With a Smile with Bruno Mars and Best Art Direction and Best Direction for Abracadabra.
