Powerball jackpot, two winning tickets sold in Missouri and Texas which split the nearly $1.8 billion treasure from recent drawing of Satuarday, 06, 2025.
The final jackpot reached $1.787 billion, trailing only the $2.04 billion prize won in California in November 2022.
Each winner can choose between an annuitized $893.5 million paid over 29 years or a lump sum payment of $410.3 million both amounts before federal and state taxes.
The Texas ticket was sold at Big's convenience store in Fredericksburg, while Missouri officials will announce their winning location within 72 hours per state procedures.
The winning numbers, 11, 23, 44, 61, 62 with Powerball 17 and Power Play multiplier 2 also produced secondary prizes including two $2 million tickets in Kansas and Texas and 18 $1 million winners across 13 states.
The jackpot resets to $20 million for Monday, September 09, 2025 drawing.
Players faced odds of 1 in 292.2 million for the grand prize, with tickets available in 45 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The historic win concludes a months-long prize accumulation that began in May, 2025 without a top winner.
