Tom Holland explains shocking approach to 'Spider Man in Brand New Day'
Tom Holland opens up about his secret to becoming Spider Man in Brand New Day
Tom Holland sparked new excitement among Marvel fans as he teased what is coming in Spider Man Brand New Day.
The actor shared that this new chapter carried ideas and details that made it stand out from the rest of the franchise.
In an interview with LADbible, Holland revealed that fan voices played a major role in shaping the film, explaining that he closely followed online reactions and discussions to help guide both his performance and the creative direction.
"I have been actively sifting through the internet and trying to best understand what it is that the fans want from a Spider Man movie,” the star said.
“That’s been my driving force in these pitch meetings. I think the producers, at times, were absolutely sick of me, but I think it’s really important, because we make these movies for the fans.”
Although the Uncharted actor remained careful when asked which comic storylines the film would follow, Holland stressed the importance of making Brand New Day live up to the success of the previous installment.
Zendaya's beau also shared his excitement about working on the design of the new Spider Man suit, saying it carried inspiration from Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s versions of the hero.
However, the film’s ensemble cast included returning names such as Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, alongside Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk and Michael Mando as Scorpion.
Newcomers Tramell Tillman, Sadie Sink, and Liza Colón Zayas were also added. Jackie Chan’s world famous stunt team joined the production to deliver action sequences to thrill audiences all over the world.
