Bus crash outside Victoria London station leaves several people injured
According to Police, no fatalities have been reported until now in the deadly bus crash
A bus crash has been reported outside Victoria London station, leaving several people including passengers and pedestrians injured with no report of casualties.
According to witnesses, the double decker number 24 bus has derailed off the road by the Victoria Palace Theatre on Thursday, September 4.
After the bus accident, police, the London Ambulance service and London’s Air Ambulance were immediately deployed to Victoria Street next to London Victoria station as a part of emergency response.
According to Metropolitan Police, several people including the bus driver have been injured as the bus mounted over the pavement and are being transported to hospital.
However, there is not a report of fatalities as of the latest update. No arrests have also been made yet.
Emit Suker, 47, an eyewitness, said “the bus came from Westminster at a high speed and veered off the road. There were about 15, 16 people inside the bus. People were screaming – it was terrible.”
According to the London Ambulance Service statement, “We are called at 8:20 am to report the incident of a traffic accident on Victoria Street, Westminster.”
“We have sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, advanced paramedics, a clinical team manager, an incident response officer and a command support vehicle,” the statement read.
Police have not yet launched an investigation into the deadly bus crash.
