Jennifer Aniston gets to know about Jim Curtis past amid serious romance

Jennifer Aniston is cozying up with hypnotherapist Jim Curtis.

The Friends star and Curtis romance has been talk of the town since they were spotted together on a yacht in Mallorca in July. 

As the two come closer, Bethenny Frankel, a former cast member of The Real Housewives of New York City, has revealed that she dated Curtis about 10 years ago.

Frankel, on her podcast, Just B with Bethenny Frankel, shared that she had a connection with Curtis, but chose not to delve into details "out of respect" for his current relationship with Aniston. 

"I dated Jennifer Aniston's boyfriend and he was a nice guy," Frankel said, adding that Curtis has been getting a lot of attention since dating Aniston due to his work in the wellness space.

Curtis is making his name in wellness industry for over two decades as a hypnotherapist, life coach, and author. 

Frankel mentioned that she and Curtis didn't quite align on their approach to wellness, saying, "He was earlier in his journey. But with that and with the wellness aspect, there was an earthiness to it, and it does vibe with Jen Aniston."

Despite their past connection, the podcast host expressed her happiness for both Aniston and Curtis, describing him as a "handsome, nice man, and he seems kind." 

She added, "I'm happy for Jennifer Aniston because I do believe she wants to find love... I think this is good. I like it, and I'm happy for her and for him, who, like I said, I thought was a lovely man."

As things get serious, sources close to the couple have explained Curtis impact on Aniston life, saying, "Jim's great. Her close friends love him. He's amazing to be around. He has this really calm and secure energy. Jen loves it." 

The two have been spotted on several dates, including a double date with Courteney Cox and her partner Johnny McDaid.
