Chris Martin turns concert into proposal moment for lucky couple
Chris Martin helps fan propose during Coldplay concert
Chris Martin once again came to a couple’s rescue as he helped with a proposal during a Coldplay concert.
The band, which previously garnered attention after exposing Astronomer’s CEO with his alleged partner during a live performance, knows what it means to be madly in love.
This time, a man waved a sign that read, “I want to propose,” with an arrow pointing to a woman standing in front of him. After reading the sign, Martin, 48, proceeded to say, “Okay, now listen. My brother, I need you to nod as I do some basic security checks, okay?”
The Yellow singer’s curiosity was piqued as he quickly asked whether the woman was indeed his partner.
Martin inquired, “Is this person your partner? Yes? No one else’s partner?”
The band’s frontman didn’t hesitate to ask more questions, adding, “Are you cousins or siblings, or anything weird like that? Are you AI? Are you real people? Okay, then I think we can continue.”
He then asked the man to go down on one knee and propose to his significant other as the crowd erupted in cheers.
