Pusha T looks back on Kanye West Bond amid fallout
Kanye West and Pusha T worked closely together during their time on the G.O.O.D. Music label
Pusha T recalled the good times with Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, after their once-friendly relationship hit rock bottom in the wake of Ye’s controversial antics.
The 48-year-old rapper, whose real name is Terrence LeVarr Thornton, was once a prominent artist on G.O.O.D. Music, the record label founded by the hip-hop mogul.
During that time, they worked together and thrilled fans with several projects, most notably Pusha T's albums Daytona and It's Almost Dry.
"Just as a rap aficionado, well, being there was special," the half of the Virginia-based hip hop duo, Clipse, recounted days with Kim Kardashian’s ex as members of G.O.O.D. Music. "Creating So Appalled and New God Flow were some of my favorite memories."
"The G.O.O.D. Friday series, that was crazy, too. The albums I dropped during that time, like Daytona and It’s Almost Dry, they are very, very strong offerings. It goes without saying that me and Ye made great things together," he admitted.
Despite acknowledging the great work they did together, Pusha T has officially shut down any hope of future collaboration with Ye, married to Biance Censori.
In the interview with The Guardian he made it clear that the era of Ye-produced Pusha T tracks is over with no reunion on the horizon.
The Mercy singer has distanced himself from Ye, 48, in recent years, even declaring his former collaborator "not a man."
While the Bully singer took to social media to admit he missed their friendship, Pusha T appeared completely uninterested in getting back to being friends with him anymore.
