Sharon Osbourne unveils Ozzy’s final confession about being famous
Sharon Osbourne reveals husband Ozzy’s final reflections about fans
Ozzy Osbourne’s wife Sharon Osbourne opened up about the final conversation he had about his fans, and a rare confession he made.
The 72-year-old television personality looked back at the last Black Sabbath performance in her latest interview and shared what the rocker told her.
“He turned around and he said to me that night, he said, ‘I had no idea that so many people liked me,’” Sharon told Pollstar of the Back to the Beginning farewell concert, which marked Ozzy’s last.
“Ozzy’s always been in his own bubble,” Sharon added.
She went on to share that the love and admiration from people all around the world didn’t come as a surprise to her. “Oh my God, the metal fans are the most loyal fans in the world! When they’re a fan, you’ve got them for life. They don’t go anywhere,” she noted.
Only a few days after his heartfelt performance with the Black Sabbath, the rocker passed away from cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease, at the age of 76.
Ozzy and Sharon got married in 1982 and shared three children, Aimee, 41, Kelly, 40 and Jack, 39.
