Brandon Routh, Rachael Leigh Cook ignite romance rumors with date night

Rachael Leigh Cook and Brandon Routh are sparking relationship buzz after being spotted together on a movie date in Los Angeles. 

The pair, both familiar faces on Hallmark screens, were seen walking hand in hand on July 25, smiling as they headed into the theater. 

Their chemistry didn’t go unnoticed, and while neither has confirmed a romantic relationship, their connection was clear from their easygoing body language and relaxed outing.

Rachael kept her style casual and chic, pairing denim jeans with a navy utility blazer and a pop of pink from her handbag. Brandon, on the other hand, opted for an understated all-black look, wearing a button-down shirt with matching slacks. 

The duo looked comfortable in each other’s company, fueling speculation about a possible romance brewing behind the scenes.

While their relationship status remains unconfirmed, their paths have likely crossed more than once through their shared Hallmark careers. 

Rachael recently starred in Sisterhood, Inc. alongside Daniella Monet, while Brandon is best known among Hallmark audiences for The Nine Lives of Christmas franchise.

The timing of their outing also adds interest. 

Brandon finalized his divorce from actress Courtney Ford earlier this summer. The former couple, who share 12-year-old son Leo, announced their split in January after more than two decades together. 

In a joint statement, they shared, “After 21 years together, and 17 years of marriage, we have decided to begin a new journey and enter this next chapter of life as friends and co-parents.”

Rachael’s own journey through separation happened a few years earlier. 

She and actor Daniel Gillies parted ways in 2019 after 14 years of marriage. Their joint statement reflected deep respect, noting, “With deep gratitude for every year we have spent together and the thousands of beautiful memories shared, we have mutually decided to separate as a couple.”

Now, both actors appear to be moving forward with their lives. Whether this recent outing is the beginning of something new or simply a close friendship, Rachael and Brandon seem to be enjoying each other’s company.
