Buckingham Palace may have been the grand backdrop for the Lionesses' victory celebration, but one thing was notably missing the Royal Family.
No official working royals were present at the jubilant parade on Tuesday, as thousands of England fans lined The Mall to cheer on the European champions during their open-top bus tour to the palace.
Despite the historic win, the team wasn’t greeted by any senior royals upon arrival at the gates.
However, there was one royal surprise in the crowd: Princess Beatrice, who does not hold a working royal title, was spotted at the event with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and their children, showing support for the squad in a more personal capacity.
Meanwhile, Prince William and Princess Charlotte had already shown their support in person at the final match in Basel, Switzerland.
William proudly handed out medals to both England and Spain after the nail-biting final on Sunday, with Charlotte cheering from the stands.
Following the intense final in Basel, where England clinched the championship title, the Prince of Wales was seen beaming with pride as he handed out medals to both teams.
After the official presentation, William noticed he had one extra winner's medal in hand and teased his daughter before handing it over.
Charlotte, clearly eager, reached out with a big smile as her father handed her the honorary keepsake, marking a special memory from their celebratory trip.
The father-daughter duo later released a rare joint statement on social media, praising the Lionesses for their monumental victory:
"What a game! @lionesses, you are the champions of Europe and we couldn’t be prouder of the whole team. Enjoy this moment @England."
King Charles led the nation’s celebrations with a rousing tribute to England’s Lionesses after their unforgettable Euro 2025 victory hailing their resilience, talent, and historic triumph.
In a heartfelt statement issued on behalf of the Royal Family, the monarch praised the team’s hard-fought win, calling it a moment of "great pride" for the country.
