'Black Sabbath' famed Ozzy Osbourne breathes his last at 76
Ozzy Osbourne performed his farewell concert three weeks ago
Veteran singer Ozzy Osbourne passed away at the age of 76.
The saddening news comes three weeks after he performed his farewell concert for fans along with his Black Sabbath bandmates.
The legendary English singer’s family shared the saddening news in a statement that read, "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.”
They assured that “he was with his family and surrounded by love” during his last moments.
Osbourne had Parkinson’s along with other health problems including complications from injuries that he sustained in a fall in 2019.
In his last gig at Villa Park, he expressed how he feels to perform on stage one last time. "You've no idea how I feel - thank you from the bottom of my heart", he told fans.
The concert included songs from some of his most favourite artists namely Gun N’ Roses and Metallica.
He was among those artists who had his name on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame
On the other hand, Ozzy was a recipient of five Grammy awards that he achieved out of 12 nominations.
Meanwhile, he also received the honorary UK Music Hall of Fame and the US Rock And Roll Hall of Fame for both; as a solo artist and with Black Sabbath.
