Meghan Markle’s lifestyle show fizzles after flashy launch
Meghan Markle’s Netflix show misses top 300 as streaming dreams falter
Meghan Markle’s latest venture into the world of lifestyle television has failed to make a splash, with her series With Love, Meghan falling short of Netflix’s top 300 most-watched shows for the first half of 2025.
Despite the fanfare surrounding its release, the show garnered just 5.3 million views landing at a disappointing number 383 on the platform's rankings.
That figure puts it on par with re-runs of decade-old titles, including season two of Peaky Blinders (2014) and season four of Suits (2011), the legal drama that first brought Meghan to public attention.
Their multi-million-dollar deal with Netflix, signed in 2020, was seen as a major stepping stone but the results so far have fallen short of expectations.
The series made an early splash, entering global top 10 within just 24 hours of its release.
But the momentum proved short-lived, as viewership numbers dropped sharply amid a flood of lukewarm reviews from critics.
Despite its faltering reception, Netflix has confirmed that a second season already filmed is set to air this autumn, signaling the streamer’s continued investment in the Duchess’s brand of domestic chic.
But the challenges extend beyond the screen. Her lifestyle brand, originally launched under the name American Riviera Orchard, has already hit turbulence. Facing trademark complications, the label has quietly rebranded as As Ever.
