Royal family has a number of issues to deal with as several conflicts and issues have been simmering behind palace walls since the past year.
King Charles and his heir Prince William, who have been making decisive moves for the future of monarchy, now have to address some important matters in an upcoming summit.
Every year, the royal family gathers in Scotland for a break to mark the end of the summer at the Balmoral Castle – the royal palace most beloved by the late Queen Elizabeth.
All members regroup as they relax from the duties and a family summit is held to discuss major issues and figure out solutions for them. For the past few years, Prince Andrew had not been part of the summit, given that he had been embroiled in a slew of scandals.
The past few summits had about how to handle the public reactions to Andrew’s blunders, with William having a strict approach to the matter.
However, a source revealed to Closer magazine that Andrew had been invited to the meeting and the only royals to not receive the invitation are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The report suggested that the future of the Sussexes will be the “focal point” of the meeting but roles of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will also be discussed.
The two daughters of Andrew and Sarah Fergusons have recently been performing prominent tasks on behalf of the King, suggesting that the monarch may have big plans for his beloved nieces.
The update comes as FBI investigators concluded years-long probe into the Jeffery Epstein “client list” which contained the names of high-profile figures including Andrew, who facilitated the convicted financier’s illegal affairs.
It was revealed that no charges will be brought against the Duke of York or any other high-profile associate since the claims were “perpetuating unfounded theories”.
