Buckingham Palace gives tribute to 'Sussexes replacement' Edward, Sophie
Duchess Sophie and Prince Edward attend event unveiling rare collection for State Visit
King Charles' office gave a special nod to Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie, who were recently dubbed the replacement of the Sussexes.
For the unversed, the French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron are currently on a State Visit to the UK.
First, the couple was received by Prince William and Princess Kate at the airport. Later, they joined King Charles and Queen Camilla for a formal ceremonial welcome at the Royal Dais in Windsor.
Notably, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh made a key appearance at a gathering in which a selection of objects from the Royal Collection were displayed for the French delegates.
Buckingham Palace released a series of delightful photos from the event, which showcased the Edinburghs interacting with guests.
As per the Palace's spokesperson, the rare collection "demonstrates the enduring relationship between the two nations and celebrates outstanding craftsmanship from the visiting country."
It is important to mention that royal experts believe that Sophie and Edward would replace Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with their determination and honesty for the monarchy.
And it is not a hidden fact that the 'key assets' of the royal family have been taking more prominent roles in recent times, showing King Charles and Prince William's support for the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
