Prince Andrew seems to be planning his big move soon as he received major update about the investigation of the Epstein files.
The Duke of York, who had been living in a self-imposed exile for six-years after losing his royal titles and patronages, is now finally breathing easy as he no longer fears an arrest if he leaves the U.K.
King Charles’s disgraced brother was being investigated for his connection to financier Jeffery Epstein and his illegal sex trafficking business. Allegations were made that Epstein had kept a “client list” which included high-profile names which included Andrew and even high-profile political figures.
While the probe was ongoing Andrew was terrified that an arrest would be made if he left the country. However, now that the investigation has been concluded as it “did not uncover evidence” to support claims, the Duke can now freely travel abroad, a friend told The Sun.
“He has been abroad once since the scandal erupted. But without the FBI investigation hanging over his head he will feel it’s safe to travel,” the pal said of Andrew, who had been nicknamed as ‘Air Miles Andy’.
“He has always been very nervous about going abroad and felt he’d always be looking over his shoulder as he could be subject to civil action or at worst, being arrested,” they continued.
“Hopefully with this out of the way it means he can at least leave the country.”
The pal noted that Andrew will not stay hunkered in the Royal Lodge and he “hasn’t been convicted of any crime”, he will not be making new plans.
