As the Men's Singles Final at Wimbledon approaches, all eyes will be on Princess Kate, who has been a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club since 2016.

According to jewellery expert Tobias Kormind, Kate is likely to strike a balance between tradition and contemporary sophistication with her jewellery choice.

Kormind, the managing director and co-founder of 77 Diamonds, notes that Kate has a special affinity for Wimbledon, having attended the event despite undergoing cancer treatment last year.

"Wimbledon holds a special place in the Princess of Wales's heart, it was one of the first public events she attended after announcing she had begun cancer treatment," he said.

Kate's jewellery choices often pay homage to tradition, with pearls being a staple in her courtside wardrobe. The Collingwood earrings, once worn by Diana, Princess of Wales, are a favourite of Kate's, adding a personal touch to her ensemble.

"Her choice of the Collingwood earrings, once worn by Diana, Princess of Wales, who also cherished Wimbledon, always adds a personal touch to her ensemble," Kormind noted.

In recent years, Kate has begun to modernise her jewellery selections, favouring pieces by British designers that reflect her evolving style. Last year, she paired a purple dress with a gold torque bangle, balancing tradition with contemporary sophistication.

"More recently, the Princess has begun to modernise her jewellery selections, favouring pieces by British designers that reflect her evolving style," Kormind said.

Kormind predicts that Kate will opt for a similar style this year, carrying the same sense of symbolism. "This year, we can expect Kate to opt for a similar style and will no doubt carry the same sense of symbolism," he concluded.
