Prince Harry fails to protect Diana’s memory on crucial day: ‘unforgivable’

Prince Harry received some brutal criticism over his deafening silence as his late mother, Princess Diana’s memory was hijacked.

Meghan Markle, who has been focussed on building her brand As Ever, made an insensitive move, which angered many fans regarding her disrespectful decision.

The Duchess of Sussex had released her rosé wine on Tuesday, which was also the 64th birthday of the late princess. Many fans believed that it was not a mistake but a deliberate decision.

However, while the former Suits star was bashed for her tone-deaf move, Harry became a target of heavy criticism as he did not make an effort to convince Meghan otherwise.

One user on X penned a lengthy critique about Meghan’s inappropriate decision of releasing liquor on Diana’s birthday – the late Princess of Wales “died in a crash involving a drunk driver”.

“It is disturbing. It shows a complete lack of judgment, empathy and basic human decency,” user CandidCoverage wrote. “Of all the days in the year, she picked this one to promote alcohol. She didn’t choose to honour her memory. She didn’t reflect on her life or legacy. She used the day to sell a product & in doing so, she showed exactly what Diana means to them: a marketing tool.”

Meanwhile, they said that Harry’s “silence is indefensible” especially after the Duke of Sussex claimed that he would protect his mother’s legacy.

They added, “I am disgusted that Harry allowed this to happen. I am sickened by the blatant disrespect for Diana’s memory. This was not a mistake. It was a deliberate decision made with full awareness. I am physically nauseated. They’ve crossed every line. And still, they dig lower.”
