Prince William has taken a meaningful step for women which surely left the champion of women's rights, Duchess Sophie impressed.
The Prince of Wales launched a series, titled Guardians, to highlight the efforts of wildlife rangers who are risking their lives to protect wildlife and ecosystems.
In a fresh episode of the show, William lauded an all-women group of wildlife warriors as they are breaking stereotypes and tackling the dangers of Amazon rainforests.
As per BBC Earth's YouTube channel, the future King talked about Caru indigenous land which “is under increasing threat from criminal gangs engaged in illegal logging, poaching, wildfires and the constant demand for natural resources."
William heaped praise on "'guerreiras,' or women warriors" as they are "standing firm for their people, their land and a way of life passed down through generations."
"In this episode, we witness their courage in helping protect not just the forest’s future, but the culture and wisdom rooted within it," he added.
The Prince of Wales is paying a 'powerful' tribute to the wildlife rangers who are playing vital roles on the front lines of conservation with his docuseries.
"At its core, the series reflects a cause deeply close to The Prince of Wales’s heart: protecting the natural world by supporting those who safeguard it every day," William's spokesperson said.
It's important to recognize that the Prince of Wales' empowering message for female wildlife rangers would resonate with Duchess Sophie, who is known for her connections to various women's rights organisations.
