Royal expert offers candid advice to Meghan Markle on her new business venture
Meghan Markle is once again facing accusations of imitating other celebrities with the launch of her latest product.
The 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex has introduced a Rose wine to her As Ever brand-marking her first venture into alcoholic beverages.
Royal expert Hugo Vickers, renowned for his books on the Windsor family and their history, has criticised Meghan's new addition, which follows her popular jam collection under the same brand.
Vickers issued a strong caution to Meghan, urging her to ensure that her Rose stands out from the numerous celebrity alcohol labels that have flooded the market in recent years.
Hugo said, 'And that's where you have got to be jolly careful. 'Because if you start just sort of taking other people's products and putting your name on it. I am not saying that she is absolutely exactly done that-if you do something even by accident, then you are going to get into trouble.
He added:' If you like rose wine, you will probably find that you have got a particular one that you like, and I must admit I would not be tempted to go for hers.'
Meghan's latest launch comes after her jam brand went viral on social media. She also drew attention online for her statement that every 'failure' is, in fact, a success.
